'We must never forget the dedication and sacrifice of a generation and the human spirit that persists even against the most overwhelming odds' ©
We are volunteers including Historians and Re-enactors dedicated to keeping alive the spirit of Remembrance for the wartime generation on Britain’s Home Front. HFH is a not for profit UK Social Enterprise acting as a resource and as co-ordinators providing services including Talks, Displays, Living History Re-enactment, Archives and Research.
We assist event organisers, the Media, Schools, Museums, Venues and Film and Television
We hold full Public Liability Insurance and we conduct ourselves with consideration and respect at all times. We are experienced in meet and greet, mix and mingle and stewarding as well as giving fascinating displays for all audiences and ages.
We have assisted and continue to assist organisations large and small including Veterans Groups, St Pauls Cathedral, Bramshill Mansion, D-Day Map Room, Highclere Castle, Museum of Army Flying, Knepp Castle, Hurst Castle (English Heritage) and the American Museum.
‘Thank you so much for all your kind help, we really appreciated your efforts and were delighted that so many enactors could join us. They were full of enthusiasm and most co-operative and I hope that they enjoyed their day.
I do hope that the Museum and your group can work together again’

‘Home Front History has worked with the Police Staff College at Bramshill for the past five years.
I can thoroughly recommend this group to anyone requiring that extra special theme’

I have been a ‘member’ of your Face book site, Home Front History, for more than a year and I wanted to pass on my thoughts on the work that you and your great band of fellow re-enactors have been doing.
Other references are available with pleasure, upon application
I mention especially, your dedication in remembering both the survivors and those whom we still mourn from those dark days of WW2.
As you know I am a survivor of the war over London and was lucky enough to come through five years of conflict almost unscathed, that’s if you don’t count me losing an eye. I do admit I am proud to be associated with you and your many colleagues who I know to have high standards and to be free of all personal gain, prestige and politics. This may not be appreciated by some who like to dress up and parade around to boost their own egos, but it is appreciated by my generation.
We are pleased to be associated with and recommend
